Ice World, owned by Black Bear Sports Group, Inc., opened in 1996 as a twin rink facility conveniently located in suburban Harford County, Maryland. Ice World is open year round! Under one roof, we have two NHL size (200′ x 85′) rinks, 9 team locker rooms, seating for up to 300 patrons, a full service Snack Bar and skate sharpening. We are located just off of I-95 about 10 minutes north east of Baltimore, Maryland. Ice World offers a wide variety of ice skating programs for all levels and interests, from youth through adults. We offer Group and private skating lessons, instructional, recreational and travel hockey. We host lots of birthday parties as well as private group rentals for everything from family reunions to corporate team-building sessions. Ice World is home to Tomorrow’s Ice, North Stars Hockey Club, Chesapeake Figure Skating Club, Maryland Ice Theatre, as well as numerous other youth and adult hockey clubs.

Cancellation & Make-up Classes:
There are NO Refunds or make up sessions unless due to an injury or serious illness. A physician’s note will be required and there will be a $25 registration fee if we don’t have at least 3 days notice. A credit (not a refund), minus the $25 registration fee will be issued to any individual who cancels their enrollment in the group lesson program. The credit will be prorated based on the number of classes remaining at the time of cancellation. Ice World reserves the right to cancel classes at any time. If Ice World cancels a class, a full refund will be issued.
